Dominik is a Masters graduate of the International Olympic Academy. He works as a sports project manager and educator with the belief that sport and physical activity can help to overcome differences, create a more meaningful and happier social life, and unite as well as empower people in an inclusive and joyful way.
The “Olympic Values Skiing Days” project was created together with a social institution that accommodates children from troubled and disadvantaged backgrounds. It provides these children with the opportunity to experience skiing, a sport deeply embedded in Austrian culture. For four days, the 12 participating children (ranging in age from 5 to 15) could forget their everyday struggles and enjoy the activities on snow as well as various workshops and games promoting the values of respect, excellence, fair play, equality, non-discrimination and sustainable living.
