Tim Brabants Wins 1st Gold for GB in Canoeing

Tim Brabants of Great Britain, leads from start to finish to receive the gold medal in the men's kayaking 1000m. Brabants, bronze medallist in Sidney, crosses the line in 3:26.323, winning the first ever canoeing gold medal for his country. Eirik Veraas Larsen of Norway, claims silver in 3:27.342, finishing just inches ahead of Ken Wallace, who settles for bronze.
