Suzanne Lenglen Becomes an Olympic Champion

A French national hero, Suzanne Lenglen is considered one of the greatest women's tennis players of all time. At the Antwerp 1920 Summer Olympics, Suzanne claimed the gold medal along with partner Max Decugis in the doubles mixed event. In the singles event, she triumphed over Edith Holman of Great Britain, earning the Olympic title.
