Increased Broadcasting Leads To Great Ratings
The 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics look to have the highest viewship of all Games. The Opening Ceremonies saw a staggering 842 million people in China tune in to part of the coverage. Over 5000 hours of television content is available to broadcasting partners in 220 countries and territories. Ratings in Asian time zones are up and even in North America, more people are tuning in than the 1996 Atlanta Games.
