At the 2006 Winter Games, Finland captures for the first time an Olympic medal in the men's curling. Led by Markku Uusipaavalniemi and carrying their country's Olympic hope, Kalle Kiiskinen, Wille Makela, Jani Sullanmaa and Teemu Salo face Canada in the gold medal game.
