London 2012 - Italy was the star of the Fencing tournament. The 'dream team' of Elisa Di Francisca, Arianna Errigo and veteran Valentina Vezzali - plus substitute Ilaria Salvatori - were first, second and third in the women's Individual Foil event and added the Team title, giving Vezzali the sixth gold of her career.
