The concrete structure is already well advanced: the walls of the underground area are almost finished, the concrete flooring and walls of the ground floor are well advanced; and the work on installing the metal poles on the ground floor has just started.

The IOC announced an extension to its global partnership with official timekeeper omega through to 2032, to include the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 through to the Games of the XXXV Olympiad (2032).
