    Loch gunning for golden luge hat-trick at PyeongChang 2018

    An Olympic men’s singles luge champion at the age of 20 in Vancouver in 2010, Felix Loch retained his title four years later in Sochi, where he also won gold in the new mixed team event. Having remained at the top of his sport since then, the German will be the man to beat when he goes for a third straight singles title at PyeongChang 2018.

    IOC elects Milan as host of the IOC Session in 2019

    The International Olympic Committee (IOC) today voted to elect Milan, Italy, as the host city of the IOC Session 2019. The decision was taken following an Evaluation Commission visit to the city on 23 and 24 May 2017, a report to the Session by the Commission, and a presentation by the Milan bid team. The IOC Session Evaluation Commission was composed of IOC Executive Board Members Ser Miang Ng and Willi Kaltschmitt.
