    Rowing crews work in unison to prove they're real gold medal contenders in the men's quadruple sculls heats. Australia becomes the heat 1 winner, finishing in 5:36.07, followed closely by Italy and Russia. Poland, crosses the line in 5:38.85, winning heat 2, France finishes second and Belarus third.     Marek Kolbowicz, Michal Jelinski,Konrad Wasielewski, and Adam Korol of Poland lead the race from start to finish, claiming Olympic gold in the quadruple sculls final. The Polish quartet finishes in a time of 5:41.33, more than 2 seconds ahead of the Italian crew. The bronze medal is received by the French quartet.     Rowing crews effort to succeed and move on to the next stage, in the men's fours heats. The British crew triumphs in heat 1 in 6:00.65, followed by Italy and USA. Netherlands becomes the heat 2 winner, finishing in 6:00.44, closely followed by New Zealand and Slovania. Heat number 3 is won by Australia in 6:00.33, posting the best time of all 3 heats.
