    The Spanish duo, Saul Craviotto and Carlos Perez, lead all the way to claim the gold medal in the men's K2 500m. The Spaniards achieve victory crossing the line in 1:28.736, followed really closely by the defending Olympic champions, Rauhe and Wieskotter of Germany, who receive the silver medal in 1:28.827.
