Adam Malysz of Poland and Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria gain 269.4 points and 262.2 points respectively, but they are no match for Ammann. He cements his dominance and becomes the first ski jumper to win four individual gold medals adding to the two gold medals he won in Salt Lake City.
