    Friendship was the theme in Freestyle Skiing as Kai Mahler (SUI) won Gold in a visually spectacular competition between some close friends at the Men's Half-pipe Final. "We are all friends, and we're stoked if someone leads a run," Mahler said. "It's definitely hard to keep up with them, and all these kids are killing it."

    Tyrolean native Elisabeth Gram has won Austria's first Gold Medal of the Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in the Women's Ski Halfpipe Final. Gram, who took up Freestyle Skiing at the age of 11, amassed 84.75 points to win the Gold in front of a delighted crowd.
