    Juvan seals a second tennis gold and Argentina duo win on home soil

    Budding Slovenian tennis star Kaja Juvan won her second gold medal of the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018 before home favourites Facundo Diaz Acosta and Sebastian Baez won the men’s tennis doubles in front of more than 5,000 spectators at Green Park. Japanese duo Yuki Naito and Naiko Tajima sealed the last gold medal of the day with a victory against Colombian duo Maria Camila Osorio Serrano and Nicolas Mejia in the mixed doubles gold medal match.

    Rowing golds for Italy’s men and Greece’s women

    Alberto Zamariola and Nicolas Castelnovo of Italy powered to rowing gold in the men’s pairs at the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018 on Tuesday 9 October, while Maria Kyridou and Christina Bourmpou of Greece did likewise in the women’s pairs final later in the day.
