    London - 6 August 2012: On the wrestling mat of the ExCeL Arena, Iran’s Omid Haji Noroozi (in blue) faces Revaz Lashkhi of Georgia in the final of the Greco-Roman wrestling 60kg category. Noroozi won 2-0 (1-0, 1-0), taking one of Iran’s three gold medals in wrestling at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

    Noroozi v Lashki -60kg Greco-Roman final

    London 2012 - Iran won their second Greco-Roman Wrestling gold in two days after Omid Noroozi beat Georgia's Revaz Lashkhi in the 60kg category. Noroozi used all his strength to successfully defended a par terre in the first period and then got behind his opponent in the second to earn the match-winning point.

    London - 6 August 2012: Ryutaro Matsumoto of Japan faces Kazakhstan’s Almat Kebispaev (in red) in the bronze medal bout of the of the Greco-Roman wrestling 60kg category at the ExCeL Arena. Matsumoto won 2-1 and stepped onto the podium alongside Iran’s Omid Noroozi (gold), Georgia’s Revaz Lashkhi (silver) and Russia’s Zaur Kuramagomedov (bronze).
