    Huang and Huang make it a golden night for Chinese Taipei

    Chinese Taipei were double trouble for their opponents in the taekwondo tournament on Monday night, when Huang Huai-Hsuan and Huang Yu-Jen grabbed both gold medals on offer. Huang Huai-Hsuan won the women’s -49kg title before Huang Yu-Jen claimed men’s -55kg crown, taking their nation’s medal tally in the sport to four at the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.

    Judo Educational Journey through China

    After a successful pilot project in Qingdao, China, the International Judo Federation (IJF) launched the Judo Education Journey through China to introduce the sport and its values to local children and youth. In cooperation with the Chinese Judo Association (CJA), Olympic Solidarity and the Chinese National Olympic Committee, the programme was taken to more than 10 different cities and was a huge success with over 5.800 participants.
