    London 2012 - Great Britain claimed gold and silver in the Canoe Slalom Double (C2) in front a jubilant home crowd. Etienne Stott and Tim Baillie won gold in a time of 106.41, followed by Richard Hounslow and David Florence, who registered a time of 106.77 to claim silver.

    Tony Estanguet claims gold in C1 becoming the only whitewater canoeist to defend his Olympic title. Estanguet scores 189.16 to achieve Olympic victory for the 2nd consecutive time.
