  • Lucky dollar

    Lucky dollar

    Just before the Seoul 1988 competitions, Pierre Durand was given a lucky dollar bill by Bill Steinkraus, Olympic show jumping champion at the Mexico City Games in 1968. This dollar bill was handed over 16 years later to Rodrigo Pessoa, who became Olympic champion in Athens in 2004. This “lucky dollar” was given to The Olympic Museum in 2006. Copyright : CIO
