    Today at PyeongChang 2018: Friday 16 February

    Seven titles are up for grabs today at PyeongChang, with the men’s skeleton first up, followed by the women’s slalom and men’s super-G in Alpine Skiing. The men’s cross-country skiers will be taking on the 15km freestyle, the women are up in the snowboard cross, ski jumpers will be heading to Phoenix Park and the women’s 5,000m speed skating is on. Also on is the women's freestyle skiing event. The men’s figure skating also kicks off with the short programme.

    Boehler’s quest for the perfect ice

    “It’s just like football,” explains Rémy Boehler, the Frenchman charged with ensuring that the rink at the Gangneung Ice Arena is ‘pitch perfect’ for the figure skating competition at PyeongChang 2018. “If the grass is well prepared, you have a better chance of a high-quality match; if it isn’t it’s more difficult,” he adds.

    Today at PyeongChang 2018: Wednesday 14 February

    Snow sports take centre stage on the seventh day of competition at PyeongChang 2018, as Olympic champions are crowned in the women’s 15km individual in biathlon, the normal hill/10 km in Nordic combined and the men’s snowboard halfpipe final. On the ice, gold medals will be awarded in the men’s doubles in luge and the women’s 1,000m in speed skating.
