    One of the venues for the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, the resort of Alpensia hosted round seven of the IBU World Cup on 2-5 March. Germany’s Laura Dahlmeier was in a class of her own in the women’s competitions, completing a sprint and pursuit double, while France’s Martin Fourcade finished third in the men’s sprint and first in the pursuit to claim his sixth consecutive Big Crystal Globe, all this at a meeting where the course came in for widespread praise.
