    Olympic superstars get active in Lausanne for Olympic Day

    As part of the inauguration of Olympic House, the new headquarters of the IOC, and the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the IOC on Olympic Day on Sunday (23 June), more than 30 visiting sports stars from the world of winter and summer sports will come to the Olympic Capital of Lausanne. On Saturday (22 June), they will get active at local sports clubs and take part in the Olympic Capital Run.

    Meet PyeongChang 2018’s “flower kids”

    Among the many people who are working hard to ensure that the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 are a success are the “flower kids” at the Gangneung Ice Arena. It is their job to skate out on to the ice after each performance in the figure skating competitions and pick up the flowers and stuffed animals that rain down from the stands in appreciation of the skaters.

    86 years of timekeeping history displayed at the OMEGA Olympic Games Exhibition in Seoul
