    US snowboarder Chloe Kim enjoyed an outstanding Winter Youth Olympic Games Lillehammer 2016, winning gold in both the halfpipe and slopestyle. By that stage the teenager had already been causing a stir at the X Games and on the FIS World Cup circuit, and she will be among the favourites when she makes her full Olympic debut at PyeongChang 2018.

    Many of the world’s best freestyle snowboarders were in the Republic of Korea on 18-19 February, as the Bokwang Phoenix Park Resort played host to the season’s final halfpipe event in the FIS Snowboard World Cup series, which doubled up as the official test event for PyeongChang 2018.

    President Bach joined members of the Refugee Olympic Team (ROT) today at the United Nations in Geneva. Sitting alongside Tegla Loroupe, the three-time Olympian and Chef de Mission of the ROT from Kenya, and 800m runner Rose Lokonyen, he participated in a meeting that took place during the UN Human Rights Council.
