Winner’s medal Stockholm 1912

The reverse of the medal features a representation of a herald announcing the Olympic Games before a bust of Pehr Henrik Link, the “father” of Swedish gymnastics. The following inscription is engraved on the edge of the medal: “Olympiska Spelen/Stockholm 1912”. The obverse of the medal (presented above) is identical to that which was designed for the London 1908 Games
