Andres PoloVice-President, Global Innovation Marketing
Andres Polo is Vice-President of Global Innovation Marketing for Visa.
In his current role, he is responsible for driving business-to-business (B2B) and go-to-market strategy for Visa's innovation and technology portfolio, which includes programmes and activations for Visa's most disruptive products and innovations. Primary efforts focus on leveraging paid, owned, earned media, events, sales enablement and email marketing to drive the business. This includes bringing the innovations to life at major consumer sponsorships and B2B events.
During his 15 years of experience working for Visa, he has held several positions. After seven years as Web Content Manager, he became Business Leader of Digital Marketing, focusing his team’s efforts on delivering best-in-class digital, social, local and mobile marketing solutions to advance the regional and in-country business objectives for Visa in the region. Most recently, he was Vice-President of Digital Marketing for Visa Inc. for Latin America and the Caribbean Region.
Prior to joining Visa, Polo was a partner in a digital agency serving companies in the United States and Latin America.
Polo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. In 2005, he received the Visa Gold Star as recognition for extraordinary contributions and efforts relative to Visa’s mission, values and competencies. He was also awarded the Visa Innovation Idea of the Year in 2006 and holds a US patent for his work on the Digital Concierge Application.
