YOG on the Road gathers advice from top skiers

You have to be a bit crazy to want to chuck yourself down an icy slope, and thankfully the world-class ski racers we met at the final World Cup of the season earlier this year were no exception.

In this latest video in our YOG on the Road series we talk to the likes of two-time Olympic silver medallist Tina Maze (SLO) and super combined world champion Anna Fenninger (AUT), who tell us why they love their sport and share their advice for young athletes.

The overall message to budding skiers out there hoping to qualify for the next Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer in 2016: “stay focused and make sure you have fun”.  After all, to borrow the words of Austrian World Cup ski racer Hannes Reichelt: “to make skiing your job is beautiful”.
