YOG on the Road again and back up a snowy mountain

The Alpine skiing season kicked off in style last weekend with a thrilling Giant Slalom World Cup race in Sölden, Austria, (won by none other than YOG Ambassador Lindsey Vonn, of course), and the YOG on the Road team was there too.

But while the sun was shining for the skiers on race day, we didn’t get quite so lucky when we checked out the slopes – as you can see from these photos! Thankfully, three times Olympian and Young Ambassador Ana Jelusic was on hand to help guide the crew down the World Cup slalom course, and we escaped without any broken bones.

Back on solid ground, we got the chance to chat with some of Ana’s friends from the racing circuit, including former slalom world champion Kalle Palander from Finland, who took a shine to our Yoggl mascot, and Austria’s Michaela Kirchgasser, who told us how excited she was that her home country would be making history by hosting the first ever Winter Youth Olympic Games next year.

Watch this space for the video coming soon.
