TicketOne is the latest major company to become a sponsor of Turin 2006. It will be the "Official Supplier” of ticket office and ticket sales networks for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, it was announced today in Milan.
TicketOne is number one in Italy for ticketing, marketing, information and e-commerce in sports, entertainment and culture. It is the leader in its sector with over 2 million tickets sold directly through its distribution network in 2003.
Over 400 points of sale
TicketOne will supply the software, hardware and connectivity needed to carry out all the ticket planning, allocation, sales and distribution for TOROC. It will provide its own call centre and a network of over 400 points of sale throughout Italy for the sale and distribution of the tickets. Its own staff will be used for the ticketing activities at Olympic venues, and the company will create an Internet site for online ticket sales, while directly managing all the related e-commerce functions.
Guarantee of success
TOROC’s CEO Paolo Rota commented, “The partnership with TicketOne is a guarantee of success for our Ticketing Programme, and we can be certain of an efficient and professional service. The vast distribution network of TicketOne throughout Italy, and its online and telephone ticketing services will allow all Italians to purchase their tickets for Turin 2006 anywhere they happen to be”.
