For the duration of the exhibition, The Olympic Museum introduces its visitors to modern China, that is, both the change process underway in society because of the catalyst of the Olympic Games, but also what remains of China’s Eternal Empire. This introduction is presented through many means of expression: exhibitions, activities and demonstrations, concerts, documentary festival, educational kit, guided tours and workshops.

The week’s events at The Olympic Museum
During the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, The Olympic Museum brings you the competition news as well as physical and cultural activities that cleverly blend tradition and modernity!
Every day from Saturday 9 to Sunday 24 August: At 9 a.m.: Taijiquan in the park. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Live and pre-recorded broadcasts of the competitions on a big screen. At 12 a.m.: Gastronomic Chinese fortnight. From 5.30 to 8 p.m.: Athlete aperitif. In partnership with LFM, results and highlights of the day enjoyed with a drink. Debates and lounge music. Live broadcast from Beijing.
Friday 22, Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 August: Weekend special, demonstrations and introductions
From 2.30 to 5.30 p.m.: Acrobatics show with the Guizhou Acrobatic Troup.

Opening hours: every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
