For the duration of the exhibition, The Olympic Museum introduces its visitors to modern China, that is, both the change process underway in society because of the catalyst of the Olympic Games, but also what remains of China’s Eternal Empire. This introduction is presented through many means of expression: exhibitions, activities and demonstrations, concerts, documentary festival, educational kit, guided tours and workshops.

From Sunday 16 to Sunday 30 March: China for children
For the Easter holidays and as part of PâKOMUZé, the joint event aimed at youngsters organised by Lausanne’s museums, The Olympic Museum is offering a whole series of activities to help discover Chinese culture. Chinese games & riddles. Traditional sports: physical activities (diabolo, jianzi and other street games). Chinese puzzle: riddles to solve in the form of a trail at the Museum, with small prizes to be won! From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Chinese workshops. Animals of the Zodiac and mythical monsters: listen to tales and build things on the theme of the 12 animals of the Zodiac and the monsters that fill the Chinese imagination. From 2.30 to 5 p.m.





Opening hours: every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
