Destination Olympia, 5 B.C. exhibition

The Olympic Museum in Lausanne is offering a diverse programme linking ancient and modern sport and culture. On the programme are various guided tours of this current temporary exhibition, workshops for young people, offers for associations and businesses, educational files, discovery sheets, themed workbooks, etc. Information on 021 621 65 11.


100 Years of Planet Football – FIFA 1904-2004 exhibition

The Olympic Museum is staging offering Questions for a quick tour. For children and the general public alike, 15 questions guide the visitor around the exhibition and provide a way of very quickly understanding the essence of its content. Also on the programme are workshops and photo shoots with the FIFA World Cup. Information on 021 621 65 11.


The week’s events at the Olympic Museum


Monday 14 February: Agora (new cycle of Museum conferences): How can one dream of football after that? An unprecedented world phenomenon, football has great impact in every area: medicine, politics and philosophy. Presented by Jean-Philippe Rapp. Guests: managers of Lausanne-Sport FC and Geneva-Servette FC; women’s football managers, Michel Pont, deputy coach for the Swiss national team, and Bernard Challandes, coach for the under-21s Swiss national team. Special guest of the evening is Cameroon’s Roger Mila. At 7 p.m., free entrance. Information on 021 621 65 11. From 2 p.m., in the Museum entrance hall, photo opportunity with the FIFA World Cup.
