The IOC President travels to Oceania

The IOC President, Dr Jacques Rogge, is on an official visit to Oceania from 7 to 18 December 2002, to meet the Australian, New Zealand and Fiji National Olympic Committees, as well as political representatives from these countries. After having attended the final of the 10th Women's Hockey World Cup on 8 December in Perth, Australia, he was in Melbourne and Canberra from 9 to 11 December. After a visit to New Zealand, the President will end his journey in the Fiji Islands, where he will attend a meeting of the Oceania National Olympic Committees.
