The IOC invites expressions of interest to provide Ticketing Systems and Services
Interested companies are invited to contact the IOC for further information regarding the provision of Ticketing Systems and Services to support the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020, 2022 and 2024.
All interested parties should contact: firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than 5 February 2016, in order to receive an Invitation for Expression of Interest (“IEI”) (taking into consideration that the deadline to receive responses to the IEI is 15 February 2016.)
This is a new approach for the IOC, which is considering appointing a central supplier to provide Ticketing Systems and Services. The supplier would work with the Organising Committees for the Olympic Games (OCOGs) in order to ensure the most efficient solution across multiple editions of the Games.
The initiative is in line with Olympic Agenda 2020 recommendation 12, point 3: “Consider the provision of turnkey solutions for OCOGs in areas which require highly specific Olympic expertise.”
Recent Olympic and Paralympic Games organisers have managed the total sale and distribution of approximately 10 million tickets for the Summer Games editions, with approximately two million tickets for the Winter Games editions.
