Further to their election to the EB at the 118th IOC Session in Turin last February, Thomas Bach takes part as Vice-President, and Sam Ramsamy as member. The EB, chaired by IOC President Jacques Rogge, has 15 members, all elected by the IOC Session.
A busy first day
On the first day, the EB will hold joint meetings with the National Olympic Committes, the Summer Olympic International Federations, the Winter Olympic International Federations, and with the General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF). This first day will end with joint press conferences.
Topics on the EB agenda
On 6 and 7 April, the EB members will hear report on the IOC’s latest activities and receive updates on preparations for the forthcoming Olympics Games: Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010 and London 2012. Financial aspects will be also on the agenda with the presentation of the financial report and updates about TV rights negotiations and sponsorship. The EB will end with the IOC President’ press conference.
