Steep Road to the Olympics Grand Finals brings esport fans together ahead of the Games

In the run up to the PyeongChang 2018 Opening Ceremony, esport fans had the chance to dive early into the world of the Olympic Winter Games and watch live the six qualifiers competing at the Steep™ Road to the Olympics Grand Finals, a LAN event organised by Worldwide TOP Partner Intel and Ubisoft, which took place at the ESL Studio in Katowice, Poland, and was broadcast in PyeongChang.

The six athletes proved their worth in two distinct disciplines: slopestyle (snowboarding) and downhill (skiing). The two winners, SNiiKx for slopestyle and Bonecrusher2D for downhill, won an invitation to a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Opening Ceremony.

Steep™ Road to the Olympics is an official licensed product of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. The game features the “Become a Legend” mode, where players embark with pro athletes on the journey toward Olympic gold in freestyles disciplines. In addition to freestyle events, players are also able to compete in Alpine Olympic events.

Steep Road to the Olympics is available on the PlayStation 4 (includes enhanced features on PS4 Pro), Xbox One (includes enhanced features on Xbox One X) and Windows PC. The base game is required to play the expansion.
