Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Commemorative Coin Issue


The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC), in collaboration with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore Mint, officially launched the limited edition Singapore 2010 commemorative coin series on 29 June 2010. This coin series was launched to mark the inaugural event of the first Youth Olympic Games in history, which will be hosted by Singapore from 14 to 26 August 2010. Three different coins – namely gold, silver and bi-metal - come with face values of SGD10, SGD5 and SGD2 respectively.
