Positive messages have been sent out by TOROC
Following the IOC President's visit to Italy last week where he travelled to Rome and Turin for meetings regarding preparations for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, positive messages have been sent out by the Organising Committee for the Games of Turin (TOROC).
At the end of a meeting held yesterday with Franco Frattini (Minister of Foreign Affairs), Valentino Castellani (President of TOROC) declared that he was "satisfied with the outcome of this meeting, which has strengthened the spirit of unity and sharing of objectives among all those involved in organising the Games. Mr. Frattini has acted immediately, recognising the urgency of the requests put forward by the president of the IOC. He has produced some concrete answers to the issues that were raised on 28 February".
