One big YOG community!
This latest video looks at the unifying nature of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (YOG), which brought 3,600 athletes from over 200 nations together for one single purpose – to compete in the inaugural YOG. Living as one community in the Youth Olympic Village (YOV), the young competitors had a unique opportunity to meet people from all over the world, learn about new cultures and celebrate diversity.
Regardless of language, background or age, the athletes demonstrated that by showing each other mutual respect you can enrich your experiences and by working together you can achieve great things.
