New record for

The web site of the Olympic Movement - - hit a record high of 244,575 visitors for the Opening Ceremony of the Turin Winter Games. This is a 95% increase on the Opening Ceremony of the Athens Games when 133,000 people connected to the Olympic web site.
Over 300,000 visitors on the first competition day
The statistics for the first day of competition underline the record trend. Some 305,000 visitors connected to - more then doubling the figure from Athens 2004 (152,000).
