Mizuno Presents Olympic Family's New Uniforms

The 115th IOC Session gathered in Prague for its second day of meeting, received today the presentation by the President of the Mizuno Corporation, Mr. Masato Mizuno, of the new uniforms of the Olympic family for the period 2004-2007.

The number of items to be supplied by Mizuno to the IOC will be approximately 7,800 pieces, covering over 12 items, mainly including polo shirts, wind-breakers, caps, and bags. In addition, Mizuno presented the new uniforms for the officials and staff of the Olympic Museum, which will account for approximately 1,200 pieces, covering 6 items. Mizuno has been the official supplier of the IOC since 1996 and of the Olympic Museum in Lausanne since May 2001.

Along with the above mentioned official supplier agreements, the Mizuno International Sports Exchange Foundation has been supporting the IOC since 1979, for the purpose of cooperating in the promotion of the Olympic Movement. The cumulative subsidy by the end of 2002, increased overall to US$ 900,000.
