IOC Sports Cardiology Course Survey

Leading sports cardiology experts and a number of National Olympic Committee (NOC) team physicians from around the world have been invited to take part in a two-day IOC Sports Cardiology Course in Doha, Qatar.

The educational course, hosted this year by Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, aims to provide NOC team physicians with the most up-to-date academic and practical information on investigating the prevention of sudden cardiac death in elite athletes.

As the protection of athletes’ health and the prevention of injuries is a key priority for the IOC Medical Commission, and in a bid to continue sharing knowledge and educational information in these fields, delegates who took part in this course are invited to complete this survey.

All information is submitted on an anonymous basis.

The next IOC Sports Cardiology Course will take place in Lausanne in 2015. More information to follow at the beginning of the year.
