IOC receives Italian report on Austrian Ski Team

The IOC today confirmed that it has received a report from the Italian authorities. This report is an important element of the IOC's ongoing inquiry into the issue, and its receipt will now enable the IOC Disciplinary Commission to move ahead with its work.

This Commission, chaired by Thomas Bach and composed of IOC members Denis Oswald and Sergey Bubka, will convene in the coming weeks to analyse the report and proceed according to IOC regulations, including hearing the persons concerned. The length of the proceedings will depend on the results of the evaluation of the report and the hearings. As usual, the Commission will not make any public statement while the procedure is ongoing.

The Commission will then submit a report to the IOC Executive Board, the body responsible for taking any decision on this file.
