IOC looking into the possibility of re-testing samples from Salt Lake Games
The IOC confirms that, following recent developments regarding the drug tetrahydrogestrinone (THG), it is looking into the possibility of re-testing samples taken during the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games of 2002. In order to be able to re-test, the IOC needs to ensure that this would be possible from both a legal and scientific standpoint, and to that end, it has asked experts to look into the matter.
