IOC Executive Board meetings in Quebec City, 23 to 25 May 2012 – Information for the Media


The IOC Executive Board (EB) will meet in Quebec City, Canada from 23 to 25 May, at the same time as the SportAccord Convention.

During the three days, the EB will meet with the Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) and the International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF).   It will hear reports on the IOC’s latest activities and receive updates on preparations for the forthcoming Olympic Games: London 2012, Sochi 2014, Rio de Janeiro 2016 and PyeongChang 2018.

Media representatives wishing to cover the events should register here as soon as possible, and by Friday 11 May at the latest.

Please note that the media accreditation that you apply for via SportAccord will also grant you access to the IOC press briefings and IOC President’s press conference.

Media representatives who will not be in Quebec City will be able to listen LIVE to the press briefing at 6.30 p.m. local time on 23 May (12.30 a.m. CET on 24 May) and the IOC President's press conference at 2 p.m. local time (8 p.m. CET) on 25 May.
