IOC Executive Board in Singapore


The IOC Executive Board (EB) will meet on 3 and 4 July in Singapore, the city which will also host the 117th IOC Session. Under the chairmanship of IOC President Jacques Rogge, the 15 members of the EB will focus on several important subjects.
 
Financial report
On 3 July in the morning, the EB meeting will be devoted to financial aspects. The EB members will hear the financial report and the progress made in the negotiations for TV rights and sponsorship. In the afternoon, the EB will hear the reports presented by the Director General and the Olympic Games Executive Director.
 
Reports by the various Organising Committees
On the second day an assessment will be made on the preparations for the forthcoming Olympic Games: Turin 2006, Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010. On the seond day, reports will be heard by the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) and the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF). The EB will conclude with the final press conference by the IOC President.
