IOC ETHICS COMMISSION TO ESTABLISH GUIDELINES FOR PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN


Lausanne, 29 March 2001 - What:
The future President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will be elected on 16 July 2001 during the 112th IOC Session in Moscow. The deadline for candidatures to be declared is 10 April 2001.

The IOC Ethics Commission, which will meet on 2 April 2001 in Lausanne, will establish the guidelines that candidates for the IOC presidency will have to follow. A press conference will be held after this meeting at the IOC headquarters in Vidy.
