Hans Erni, a Life Commitment

Tuesday 2 May 2006 at 6.30 p.m. at the Olympic Museum
Presentation by Jean-Philippe Rapp

He is a young man. He has just celebrated his 97th birthday and is talking about the future. Hans Erni has always been linked to everything that makes the modern world move.
A committed witness of the 20th century, he attached a fundamental dimension to his artistic vocation: participating in the evolution of society. Through painting, sculpture, fresco, wall art, and posters, he shows both his attachment to the human being and his concerns for the future. His passion for life is all-encompassing. His thirst for knowledge, exchange and friendship is unquenchable. He will remind us of this on the occasion of an exceptional evening at the Olympic Museum.

Guests:

Léonard Gianadda, President of the Pierre Gianadda Foundation
Juan Antonio Samaranch, IOC Honorary President for Life
