What is it?
The Discovery Activities were a way for the Youth Olympic Games participants to explore sport-related topics and learn how to balance sport with life. There were workshops and interactive exhibitions to turn discovery into a hands-on and enjoyable process.
There was loads to do and fun for everyone, with facilitators on hand to make sure all the participants got the most out of the activities.
There was so much to learn in the “Discovery Activities”, including how to eat like an Olympian, and how to get the right balance between sport and study. Interactive exhibitions revealed the fascinating and inspirational history of the Olympic Movement. Plus, in the Career Corridor (one of the many activities), there was lots of useful information about how to make a successful career in sport.
