Curling in 90 seconds

Ice, stones, brooms, a target. That’s curling, a very old sport that featured on the programme of the first Olympic Winter Games in Chamonix in 1924 before returning definitively in Nagano in 1998.

How is the broom used? What types of shoe are worn? What is an “end”? How many players are on a team? How does scoring work and how is a match decided? Which is the strongest nation today? Ninety seconds to find out about an exciting sport and thus not miss any of the performances in February 2014 in Sochi.
