On Monday 29 January, in the presence of IOC President Jacques Rogge, Honorary President Juan Antonio Samaranch, Chinese IOC member Zhenliang He, Museum Director Francis Gabet, and Chinese Ambassador in Bern Bangzao Zhu, a delegation from Sinopec Corp., led by Tonghai Chen, President of Sinopec Group, unveiled a new brick in the Donors’ Wall. This is the 64th brick offered to the Olympic Museum since its construction, and is worth one million dollars.
A brick worth its weight in dollars
Sinopec is an official partner of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games with 10 other companies (Bank of China, China Netcom, CNPC, China Mobile, Volkswagen Group (China), Adidas, Johnson & Johnson, Air China and PICC P&C).
