Accreditation of the Havana anti-doping control laboratory by the IOC

During its meeting on 25 September, the IOC Executive Board approved the recommendation of the Executive Committee of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to accredit the anti-doping control laboratory in Havana (Instituto de Medicina del Deporte, Laboratorio Antidoping, Cuba).
This laboratory thus becomes the 30th doping control laboratory to receive IOC/WADA accreditation, and the fifth on the American continent, after Montreal, Los Angeles, Bogota and Rio de Janeiro.
