26th OLYMPIC WEEK From 8 to 12 October 2006

This year once again, the Olympic Museum is very pleased to organise Olympic Week, with the support of the City of Lausanne, sports and activity clubs in the region, volunteers and sponsors. As usual, this great sports festival will be organised on the quay by Lake Geneva. It is free-of-charge for all young people aged 9 to 15 years old (born between 1991 and 1997). Its aim is to recall and convey the values of Olympism through the practice of sport: the Olympic spirit is solidarity, respect, fair play, joy and friendship.

Practical information
The activities are supervised by sports monitors and the equipment is provided. They will take place at the Olympic Museum and the Quai d'Ouchy and the Quai de Belgique, which will be closed to traffic, the Place du Port, Place de la Navigation and the Quai Delamuraz, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The activities are free-of charge; you just have to sign up!
